Beginning June 22, maintenance will be underway on the two overpass structures just before the Port aux Basques Terminal along the Trans-Canada Highway. This project, carried out by the Province of Newfoundland and Labrador, is expected to last about two weeks. During this time, traffic control measures will be implemented periodically, so customers should be prepared for lane reductions and slower travel times.
Please be advised there is ongoing construction near the terminal area. Customers should reduce their speed and be prepared for potential travel delays and detours. Please note, heavy traffic may be directed to follow a different route.
