Increased Security Screening

Commercial customers may notice increased screening levels during check-in at terminals. At check-in, drivers will be asked if there are any additional passengers in their vehicle, followed by a search of the vehicle. 

We are undertaking additional vehicle screening to identify any potential non-ticketed passengers. The exact number of searches will vary from crossing to crossing. Having unaccounted passengers can be dangerous in emergency situations and these measures are being undertaken to protect the health and safety of everyone involved.
