As part of our continuous improvement plan, we are pleased to announce that we have added a terminal lot status feature and commercial unit queue summary within the commercial services section of our website. This will provide our commercial customers with real-time lot status and the number of commercial vehicles (live and drop) waiting to be assigned to the next available crossing.

With this additional information readily available, our commercial customers will be better able to plan their travel based on the status of our operations, without having to contact the terminal.

Our goal is to continue to create effective, efficient, and enjoyable user experiences for our customers through innovation and we look forward to sharing new updates with you in the near future.

How will customers access this information?

The new features to our website will be accessible by visiting marineatlantic.ca and navigating through the menu. As new releases are completed, new menu options will be available. The website is compatible with desktops, tablets, and mobile devices.

How do customers currently access this information?

Currently, high-level information is available for commercial customers who have joined an opt-in email group in the Daily Operations Report. The new electronic features on our website will provide more information than the current manual process.

Will the Daily Operational Report continue to be sent to customers?

The Daily Operational Report will continue in an amended format, focusing on future sailings. Information regarding current arrivals/departures and sailing details can be found on marineatlantic.ca. As additional releases are ready, information on the Daily Operational Report will be reduced until it is eventually phased out.

Will customers get an email notification?

Currently, opt-in notification and alert features are not included. These features are being explored for future innovations.
