How can I book?

Will I still get the discount if I am not travelling in a car?

No, this promotion is only available to up to five (5) passengers travelling in a passenger-related vehicle.

Are cabins included in this discount campaign?

No, this promotion is only applicable to passenger fares.

Do ATVs, Motorhomes, travel trailers and motorcycles qualify for the promotion?

Yes, all passenger-related vehicles qualify for the promotion.

What happens if I want to change my reservation?

Tickets booked under the promotion are refundable. Any changes made within 48-hours of your scheduled departure time will be subject to a $25.00 modification fee. To modify or cancel your reservation, please call our Reservations Call Centre at 1-800-341-7981. If you have an account with Marine Atlantic, you can modify or cancel your booking online.

What happens if I change my reservation to a date after March 31?

Any reservations that are changed to a date after the promotion period of March 31 will be required to pay the difference between the discount fare and regular fare.

I already have a reservation; can I make adjustments to take advantage of the offer?

This offer is available for new bookings only made during the promotional period.

Can I combine promotions: e.g., military discount, group tour discount?

This promotion cannot be combined with other discounts.

What happens if my sailing is cancelled or disrupted and I cannot travel on the date I booked?

If a cancellation or disruption occurs, Marine Atlantic will contact customers as per normal policy and re-book on the next available sailing at no additional charge.

If there is a schedule change, can I amend my booking if the new time doesn’t work for me?

If you are re-booked due to a Marine Atlantic schedule change, you can make amendments to a date of your choosing within the promotional period.

Up to five people, travelling with a passenger vehicle booked at Marine Atlantic Inc. (“MAI”)’s regularly published tariff, can travel for free, for crossing(s) scheduled to depart during the period December 1, 2023 and March 31, 2024 inclusive (the "Travel Period”). This promotional offer (the “Offer”) is only valid for new bookings made between November 22, 2023 to November 30, 2023 inclusive and is subject to availability. The Offer applies to travel (one-way or return travel) on MAI’s North Sydney NS/Port Aux Basques NL route. All travel must fall within the Travel Period. MAI reserves the right to further limit the number of people eligible to book by vehicle type, or by the number of seats available for a specific passenger vehicle. Foot passengers are not eligible for this Offer. Accommodations and meals are not subject to any discount. The Offer does not apply to group tours, commercial passengers or their vehicles, or bookings by travel agents/tour operators. Booking can be made online, in person or over the phone using promo code FLASH2023. The Offer has no cash value and cannot be combined with any other offer, discount, or travel/work passes (excluding MAI issued credit vouchers). Cancellations or passenger requested changes to bookings are subject to MAI’s standard cancellation/change policies. The Offer is subject to change or cancellation by MAI without notice.
