Properties and Observations

White crystals or powder. Decomposes slowly in water to form a weak hydrogen cyanide solution. Reacts with acids or acid fumes, evolving hydrogen cyanide, a highly toxic and flammable gas. Highly toxic if swallowed, by skin contact or by dust inhalation.
