Properties and Observations

Colourless to amber liquid evolving toxic vapour. Miscible with water. Unstable in contact with acids and alkalis, evolving hydrogen cyanide, a highly toxic and flammable gas. Highly toxic if swallowed, by skin contact or by inhalation.
